Jeremiah 29:1-14

Six main purposes in our lives: created to get to know God, glorify God through works, praise God, grow in character to emulate Christ, spread God’s Word, use the talents God has given us.

Do not downplay your gifts or give up because someone else has a better gift. Do not seek more prestigious talents or attempt to make your talent into something it is not.

But how to figure out what our God-given talent is? It is often that which you enjoy doing the most. Find what it is that you enjoy, that which others are thankful for, and the tasks others ask you to do as they have seen what you are good at and what you are capable of. The “title” of our talent or job is irrelevant, what is important is that you use your talents for good. Expand your talent, find out who can benefit from your works and you’ll ge doing God’s work.

God has a plan, you were created with a purpose. You only need to figure out what that purpose is.
